Cedar is a natural deterrent for many insects and bugs with a great scent. Cedar also decomposes slowly, making for less re-mulching. 

100% Natural Cedar Mulch - Made from genuine cedar, not colored mulch. Very clean, made by chipping only the log, no branches or needles. Produced locally by a certified tree farm.
